I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and was always very interested in health, especially natural health. When I was in my early twenties, I was involved in a car accident that left me with daily headaches and neck pain. I was in college and was even having difficulty focusing in class. I saw medical doctors and tried medicine and therapy but nothing helped. Eventually, I found a great chiropractor who helped me so much that I decided to become one. I went to chiropractic school in Atlanta at Life University, one of the best schools in the country. After four intense years of school (following four years of college), I graduated in 1996. After associating in Enterprise for a year, I opened my practice in Pelham in 1997.
Since then I have helped a lot of people to get out of pain or reduce their chronic pain and improve their health. I LOVE what I do and feel so blessed to have the privilege of practicing chiropractic. Every day, my patients tell me how much better they are feeling, how they don’t need those meds anymore, how they can play with their grandkids or hit a golf ball without hurting like they used to. I believe that God made our bodies with the power to heal themselves and with chiropractic adjustments I just help the body to function right again.
I will pay attention to your history and symptoms and do an orthopedic exam and take xrays if they are needed. I will make a diagnosis and tell you what I’ve found and how many treatments I think you will need. Together we will get you better with chiropractic care and therapy, home exercises and changing your workout routine or how you are working at your computer or even what way you are sleeping at night.
When I am not seeing patients, I spend time with my beautiful family. I am married to Brad Wheeler and we have three great kids, Gregg, Josh and Jenna, who are all now grown. I enjoy hiking in the woods, biking, yoga, scuba diving and traveling. We love the beach. I go to Kingwood Church in Alabaster and try to live my life putting God first and with love and integrity.
When you come to me as patient, I will give you my best.
